Sometimes it is possible that exact piece may be available, though often adornments find their home nearly as quickly as they are created, so we will gladly create a design for you based on an image you are liking. Sizing

Bracelets are stretch with sizing being the circumference measurement in inches around the wrist.

Necklaces are non-stretch with sizing being the circumference measurement in inches around the neck, from end tip of ring/clasp to end tip of ring/clasp.

Materials

We are inspired by working with second hand materials whenever possible to help minimize waste and create one-of-a-kind pieces. Our products may include rare, vintage or upcycled materials that are fragile with unique variations and limited availability. While every effort has been made to best describe materials, accuracy is not guaranteed. We are not responsible for any reactions that may occur from wearing or engaging with any of our products. Some items contain small parts and are not suitable for young children.

Bracelets are made with a durable single-strand stretch elastic cord, that is latex-free, rubber-free, and resistant to fraying, cracking, and hardening when cared for gently.

Necklaces are made with non-stretch cable wire made from micro-wires of stainless steel stranded together for strength, flexibility, with nylon coating for abrasion & kink resistance when cared for gently.

Collaboration with Nic’s Niches, crochet snakes are made of upcycled yarn with gemstone eyes. These are intended as decor and adult plushies, not for children due to the small parts. If you’d like a snake with embroidered eyes, those can gladly be made to order.

Metals used are most often stainless steel and 18kt PVD stainless steel. Certain findings may be plated base metals. We also have upgrading options for sterling silver and 14/20 gold-filled findings.

Care Instructions

All items are made with love & intention to help support longevity, however as some materials may include gemstones, natural, glass, vintage, upcylced, or stretchy & fragile components, please handle gently for best results. Adornments are not made to be worn in water or other more extreme elemental environments. Remove adornments before working out, shower, sauna, swimming, bed, extended direct sunlight etc. When transporting beaded adornments, placing in a padded box is advised. Do not place heavy items on top of loose adornments as this can jeopardize the beads and cord. If the cord gets tightly pinched or compressed, the force can cause it to snap, so storing with drape & without applied pressure is always ideal.

Chain Designs: Please note for the chains (especially the finer dainty chains), we work with stainless steel for strength & tarnish resistance, but the materials are still very delicate and need to be handled gently for best results. We use soldered/closed jump rings whenever possible for added strength. Sometimes due to size/gauge, the jump rings are not soldered, so if pulled on or caught, the ring may open and detach from the chain, handling gently will help avoid this. If this happens, we are glad to repair! (see below)

We recommend following the beloved jewelry rule shared with us by our mentor Sticks & Stones, inviting your jewelry to be the last thing you put on, and the first thing you take off for your beautiful day.

Repairs

Yes, absolutely. If something happens and your adornment needs some TLC, please reach out. An email is best with photos of the area needing support, and we will be in touch for best options. Usually it is a meet up in the Portland/PNW area - sometimes the repairs can be done in person right there, and sometimes we may need to take it back for delivery/pick-up later. Repair cost is kept as minimal as possible pending findings or materials that may need replacing. We will always do everything we can to make it right. Email: lovemagicrecipe@gmail.com
